The duo Calm, No Rusch emerged from the long-lasting friendship between Severin Rusch and Giuseppe Mennuti, who met while studying at the HKB in Bern. The project focuses on the transformation of sustained sounds, which are processed in contrasting ways and, through the use of extended techniques and approaches ranging from noise to the most subtle dynamics, enable cyclical repetitions. The goal is to pursue a continuous exploration in which the perception of time and space becomes fluid and ever-changing.
